The creation of Center for Asian Studies responds to the steady increase of academic interest in Asia during the past decade. Faculty and students in all of the University’s eight Schools interact with Asia through research, exchange programs, and a wide range of academic courses. The addition of the Crow Museum of Asian Art to the University academic family has created another layer of engagement that enhance our ability to provide an important learning resource for the University and greater community. Currently, our programs include:

  • Credit Course of Asian Studies
  • Non-credit Courses of Asian Languages: Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Hindi
  • Asian Culture Forum
  • International Partnerships and Exchange Programs
  • Lectures, Symposiums and International Conferences
  • Language and Culture Summer Camp for Children
