Chaz Gates

Chaz Gates currently serves as Legal Counsel at Texas Instruments (TI) where his practice focuses on e-commerce law, data privacy, cybersecurity, advertising law and issues related to the global expansion of TI’s online business. Prior to his legal career, Chaz worked in the U.S. Congress as a policy advisor where he focused on trade, defense/homeland security and foreign affairs (Asia). During that time, he also attained his Master’s Degree at The Johns Hopkins University where his thesis focused on the U.S.-China trade relationship – his thesis is titled “A Study on Why the U.S. Must Be Cautious in Attempts to Accelerate Appreciation of the RMB”. Chaz’s experience in Congress and at Johns Hopkins led him to an opportunity to work in Shanghai, China as a Lecturer at Shanghai University of Finance and Economics. During his final year in law school at American University, Chaz studied abroad in Hong Kong at The Chinese University of Hong Kong where he studied China’s legal system and international business law.  Chaz currently lives in Dallas, TX with his wife Whitney and French bulldog – Prince.

David Gu

David Gu is the President of Meridian Office Systems, Inc. He was the General Manager of Sharp Business Systems Texas, and has over 20 years of executive experience in the office equipment industry. He serves as Honorary Chairman of US-China Chamber of Commerce, Dallas (formerly President and Chairman from 2008-2020). In this role, David engages with and receives international delegations to expand investment opportunities between the DFW region and Asia. He also serves as EVP of DFW Asian American Citizen Council, a board member of Fort Worth Sister Cities and Greater Dallas Asian American Chamber of Commerce, and Mentor at SMU Cox School of Business. He graduated from Beihang University in Beijing, China.

Jane Li

Ms. Jane Li currently serves as the Director of Operations for the Postal Automation business at Siemens Logistics LLC. With over thirty-six years of experience in various industries, Ms. Li’s experience covers a wide range of fields including large scale project management, hardware and software engineering, nation-wide complex system deployment and system integration & testing.

Ms. Li has received multiple awards including “Project Management Excellence Award” and “Project Implementation Award” from Siemens. She has been selected as a top talent and successfully completed Siemens leadership development programs.

Ms. Li holds an M.S. degree in Computer Engineering. Her inventions have generated tremendous savings for customers and created significant business impact.
